Emerson is hiring Summer Temporary Positions–this is an 8-week full-time temporary position available at our Shakopee, Chanhassen and Eden Prairie locations! In this role, you will be responsible for assembly of measurement instrumentation products or assisting with packing of finished products. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Assembly of devices that are used for measurement in a wide range of industries
- Performing a wide variety of tasks at a workstation, such as: making repairs; performing testing; and packaging of finished products
- Delivers all production materials to appropriate product lines
- Uncrates material and separates it by item number
- Participating in daily organization and cleanup of work area
- Following safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervision
- Inspecting work to ensure total quality

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Qualified candidates must be at least 16 years of age at the time of start date
- Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 8 weeks during the months of May-August; employment will end on or by August 31 st , 2026
- No experience required, training will be provided
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Positions are contingent upon the passing of an aptitude assessment and pre-employment screening
- Physical requirements
- Must be able to stand for 80% of the shift
- Be able to frequently move equipment and products weighing up to 50 pounds
- Communicate in English without an interpreter
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Previous Rosemount Summer Temporary experience – to minimize training needs and resources.
- Pursuing an Engineering, Business or Technical degree – these degrees are reflective of the company’s future talent needs.
- Applicants pursuing other post-secondary education.

Chanhassen 2nd Monday - Thursday 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM
Shakopee 1st Monday – Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Shakopee 1st Monday - Thursday 4:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Shakopee 2nd Monday - Thursday 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM
Shakopee Weekend Friday - Sunday 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM

The hourly pay rate for this position is
$20.76 per hour, plus shift differential where applicable.
