Overview

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), is seeking a Solid Waste Landfill SEM Technician for our Chicago office.

Potential sign-on and relocation bonus, if applicable.

Qualifications

2 + years of basic knowledge of principles and practices related to the operation of landfill systems
Will work as a member of a project team(s) to complete specific assignments at municipal solid waste landfill(s) in Midwest (rarely overnight)
Willing to work in the beautiful outdoors a majority of the time
Able to lift up to 35 pounds
40-hour HAZWOPER certificate preferred
Valid Driver’s License
Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel and working with Android other technology will be necessary with the associated work.
Great verbal and written communication skills
Work truck (with tools) provided for travel to and from job sites
Personal protective Equipment provided

The posting range for this position is between $59,616 - $87,210 based on experience and location (in addition, CEC offers overtime pay and other great benefits).
