Warehouse Associate

Locke Supply Company - Commercial Division in Broken Arrow, OK looking to hire a full-time Warehouse Associate to play a vital role in making sure all materials arrive at our branch locations in a timely fashion for our customers. This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week with some overtime opportunities. We pay our Warehouse Associates a competitive wage of $14.55/hour. You would also be eligible for our solid benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401k program, a monthly incentive program, and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan. ABOUT LOCKE SUPPLY COMPANY

Locke Supply Co. is a growing, employee-owned distributor for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC parts and equipment based in Oklahoma City. The history of the company dates back to 1955, when Don and Wanda Locke opened a wholesale plumbing supply outlet in Bartlesville, OK. Locke Supply had a marketing vision of taking the merchandise to the customers’ territory with exceptional customer service. It didn’t take long for customers to develop a strong liking to the way the Locke Supply did business which led to the opening of a second branch in 1958. This concept has allowed Locke Supply to grow in areas never before considered. Today, there are over 190 store locations in a 7-state area and a 45-acre distribution center to supply them all.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

As a Warehouse Associate, you take pride in keeping the warehouse clean and organized. When it comes to tracking inventory, you are meticulous. Whether it be equipment, parts, or supplies, you know what, when, where, and how. You ensure that our branch locations and customers have what they need by pulling the right materials. As products from vendors arrive, you are ready to receive them, organize them properly, pull orders and deliver to regional customers. You get to keep busy with a variety of tasks throughout the day and you find great satisfaction in keeping everything in order.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working in a warehouse.
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance and stand for long periods of time
Willing to work in an environment that is not climate-controlled
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and DOT physical
Must have previous Warehouse experience, specifically w/Stocking
Must have the ability to drive a box truck regionally
