Summary Description:
The Regional Sales Manager / Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining aftermarket sales within an assigned territory. This position sells, services, and trains customers in the use of Red Dot parts, systems, and programs while maintaining strong personal and corporate relationships with distributors, OEM customers, and end users.
The Regional Sales Manager analyzes regional sales performance, prepares sales forecasts and reports, identifies growth opportunities, and develops new sales territories and customer relationships to support company sales goals. This position works closely with company leadership located at Red Dot Corporation headquarters in Puyallup, Washington.

Requirements
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Travels throughout the assigned territory to call on current and prospective customers, supporting sales efforts and assisting with questions regarding product programs, product performance, and applications.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with distributors, OEM partners, and aftermarket customers to promote Red Dot products and services.
- Conducts product training seminars and educational sessions to improve customer understanding of product functionality, operational characteristics, and application requirements.
- Conducts distributor and customer sales meetings to support product display, explain product features and benefits, and promote product literature and marketing materials.
- Could you communicate pricing, terms, and sales contract information to customers as required?
- Identifies and develops new markets and customer opportunities within the assigned territory to grow sales and expand Red Dot’s product presence.
- Prepares territory reports and sales forecasts to evaluate regional sales performance and identify trends or opportunities that may influence company sales strategies.
- Provides feedback to management regarding market conditions, competitive activity, and customer needs.
- Represents the company professionally while promoting Red Dot products and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Director of Aftermarket Sales
Level Requirements (Minimum):
Education
Associate degree (AA) in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent industry experience may substitute for formal education.
Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in distribution-based parts and equipment sales, preferably in heavy truck, heavy equipment, or related industries.
- Experience working with distributors and understanding aftermarket sales channels.
- Familiarity with OEM procurement practices and product design considerations.
- Working knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems for heavy-duty and off-road vehicle HVAC applications preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to deliver technical and sales information effectively.

- Acts as an ambassador for the company and maintains a positive, professional image with customers and business partners.
- Ability to quickly acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of company products, systems, and component parts.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical and sales information verbally and in writing.
- Strong presentation and training skills for customer seminars and distributor meetings.
- Ability to analyze sales data and prepare reports related to territory performance and forecasts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintains awareness of company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, heavy-duty vehicle climate control systems, or related thermal management products is preferred.
Travel Requirements
This position requires travel within the assigned territory to support customers, distributors, and company sales initiatives. Travel may include overnight stays and is expected to be approximately _50-60__% of the time.

Salary Grade** for this role is as follows:
Min: $95,000 / Annual
Max: $105,000 / Annual
*Subject to all local, state, and federal regulatory limits
