We are looking for a Traffic Project Manager to join the team!
This position is accountable for directly managing projects from inception to completion and managing the work of others in carrying out the same or related duties.
Responsibilities:
- Manages large and/or complex projects or projects for key accounts or clients.
- May participate in estimation in advance of a project for the full project scope.
- Accountable for project communication that occurs between Project Engineers, Foremen, and Superintendents to ensure work is accomplished safely and efficiently.
- Develops, maintains, and adjusts project objectives, resources, and scheduling to ensure projects are executed on schedule and within budget.
- Accountable for the management of scope of work.
- Maintains financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintains good relationships with client.
- Monitors and adjusts construction plans in collaboration with on-site supervisor.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication, obtain necessary permits, and address any concerns or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Sets up meetings with client and contractors, gathers information and distributes information.
Requirements:
- Must have experience in the construction industry and commercial construction.
- Knowledge of construction paving, underground, concrete and grading practices.
- Knowledge of traffic control practices, standards, and regulations.
- Experience dealing with purchasing managers, architects, and general contractors.
- Experience managing complex projects including site management, project cost tracking, timeline estimates, subcontractor management and coordination / interaction with trades engineers to ensure successful integration projects.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills..
