Key Responsibilities of the Controller

Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end/quarter-end close
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and corporate reporting requirements
Lead the preparation and review of financial statements and supporting schedules
Maintain and strengthen internal controls in alignment with public company standards
Partner with operational leadership to provide financial insights, cost analysis, and performance reporting
Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with finance leadership
Support internal and external audit processes
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
Drive process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability

Qualifications for the Controller

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA strongly preferred
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership
Experience within a publicly traded or Fortune 500 environment preferred
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
Proven ability to manage teams and partner cross-functionally with operations
Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency
