ARG Industrial is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist for our Anchorage location. Are you passionate about numbers and working with great people? We’re seeking a dedicated accounting professional to join our team. In this role, you’ll be as essential part of our finance department, working under the guidance of the Director of Accounting to ensure smooth financial management while contributing to the overall success of our company.

Job Responsibilities:

- Invoice Management: Generate and send invoices to our valued customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Payment Processing: Record payments from customers, maintaining up-to-date financial records.
- Accounts Payables and Receivables: Efficiently manage accounts payables and accounts receivables to maintain financial stability.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile GL accounts, customer accounts, and bank accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Journal Entries: Prepare journal entries to facilitate accurate financial reporting.
- Month-end and Year-end Processes: Assist in essential month-end and year-end financial processes.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Support the preparation of financial statements for decision-makers.
- Expense and Income Tracking: Generate reports to track expenses and income, aiding in budgeting.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Research and resolve discrepancies on accounts to maintain financial integrity.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting regulations.
- Deadline-Driven Work: Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, particularly during specific accounting cycles.
- Administrative Duties: Occasionally assist with administrative office tasks, such as answering phones and providing general office support.
- Collaborate with other departments for task completion, special projects, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Successful candidate will possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random hair follicle drug screenings.
- Prior experience within administrative roles, preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong work ethic with a team player attitude.
- Must be attentive to detail.
- Reliable and dependable adherence to work schedule.
