Amsted Automotive Group, Means Transform Products/London, Ontario, is looking for a Journeyman Millwright who will be responsible for the repair / adjustment, maintenance, installation of various types of production equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Responsible for the repair / adjustment, maintenance, installation of various types of production equipment
- Inform, record, report as required or appropriate
- Responsible to troubleshoot, carry out preventative maintenance as scheduled / required on all plant and facility equipment including various types of presses, CNC, lathes, flow forming, overhead cranes to minimize downtime and ensure a smooth flow of operations through optimal performance of equipment
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various office / plant fixtures and equipment
- Responsible to conduct all work in accordance with handbook / trade / training standards, and responsibilities defined in job documents (job descriptions, operator instructions, etc)
- Responsible to participate in team activities and perform duties safely in manner that reflects sense of “urgency” with respect to meeting deadlines and goals
- Responsible for the maintaining of tracking data for all plant equipment including, but not limited to CNC lathes, WF, presses, washers.
- Complete work assignments with accuracy, sense of urgency, and in a safe manner in accordance with established standards, and all applicable Regulations / Legislation
- Participate in company programs as required or requested including but not limited to 5S, Elimination of Waste, communication meetings, training, etc.
- Create, update and maintain a training matrix for all TFA – London team member training
- Promote the company’s operational visions, values, and goals
- Conduct all work activities in a manner that is supportive of team effort
- Participation in training or other team activities to support ongoing continuous improvement
- Adherence to all rules and regulations as may be amended from time to time
- Participate in the company’s health, safety, environmental, and operational programs
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, or his/her designate.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Journeyman status
- Must have knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical including reading/interpreting drawings and blue prints
- Must have knowledge of stamping presses and related machinery
- Must have knowledge of Mig /Arc welding and use of cutting torches
- Must have minimum 3 years field experience in an industrial environment
- Forklift, manlift, tool shop equipment operation
- Working knowledge of ISO/TS16949, ISO14001, and Q1 compliance criteria
- Fabrication of items to support equipment uptime and facilities maintenance required
- Strong organizational and time managements skills
- Ability to achieve results / targets through others who are not direct reports
- Ability to adapt and maintain performance in changing work environment
- Effective interpersonal / communication skills required
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively manage conflict, foster good team and inter-department relations
