Job Description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Coordinate warehouse operations for goods inward, including receipting, verification, storage, and internal distribution of inventory and non-inventory materials.
- Support goods outward activities as required, including customer order dispatch, packing, and preparation of shipping and pickup documentation.
- Safely handle materials, including loading and unloading vehicles and moving goods throughout the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile stock levels and locations through daily cycle counts, annual stock counts, and stocktake reporting.
- Use enterprise systems to manage receipting, shipping, and inventory movements while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Partner with internal teams such as customer service, engineering, quality, and business operations to optimise warehouse and documentation processes.
- Liaise with external couriers, transport companies, and logistics providers to support timely and compliant deliveries.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and professional warehouse environment in line with Emerson standards.
- Follow transport, shipping, and handling requirements and applicable legislation.
- Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts and, where required, other approved equipment.
- Demonstrate strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices by understanding risks, following controls, and promoting safe work behaviours.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Experience in a warehousing or logistics environment with exposure to receiving and shipping activities.
- A current forklift licence and the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Experience using enterprise or logistics systems to manage inventory and shipments.
- Basic computer skills with strong attention to accurate record keeping.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- A strong commitment to working safely and following health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- The ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the role and wear required personal protective equipment.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience with modern warehousing practices and continuous improvement approaches.
- Knowledge of import and export requirements and shipping or handling legislation.
- Experience using SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
- Additional verified competencies or licences relevant to warehouse operations.
- Experience working closely with transport and logistics providers to improve service outcomes.
