Position Overview
The Floating Pharmacy Technician supports multiple pharmacy locations across Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. This role is ideal for an adaptable, customer‑focused technician who enjoys variety, travel, and making an impact wherever they go. The Floating Technician helps ensure continuity of pharmacy operations by providing coverage and support as needed.
Travel between locations is required.

Primary Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by building loyalty and repeat business
- Support pharmacy operations across assigned locations within MN, IA, and WI
- Champion Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx
- Assist with enrolling patients in pharmacy programs
- Support the Pharmacist in clinical service offerings
- Count, measure, label, and package medications under pharmacist supervision and final approval
- Accurately input prescriptions for insurance processing
- Adapt quickly to different teams, workflows, and store environments
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be or willing to become a licensed Pharmacy Technician in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin
- Be willing and able to travel regularly between pharmacy locations
- Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and strong communication skills
