Summary of Position
The Equipment Supervisor – Eastern District reports to the Eastern District Manager and works with the Vice President of the Equipment Services Division to oversee, manage, and ensure the success of the day-to-day operations of the Equipment Division servicing the Eastern District. This includes delivering leadership, support, advocacy, and vision for our Eastern District. and lead our Equipment Services Division in region by carrying out our mission to provide superior service, equipment, and treatment solutions to our customers in the safest, most professional, and efficient manner. This position works in conjunction with all levels of management, vendors, and team members which requires effective team development and reinforcing a positive culture, internally and externally.
Primary Responsibilities

• Drive best practices in all areas of responsibility
• Alongside and in Partnership with East District Manager:
o Plan, oversee and manage equipment installations and repairs within the Eastern District
o Drive best practices in all areas of responsibility
o Manage and maintain Water Tech, Inc. capital equipment at customer sites
o Support Account Managers for system scope out and quotes for equipment and/or services
o Conduct maintenance and repairs at customer locations as requested
o Support/conduct new equipment sales, new system installations, maintenance programs, and repairs for the safe, reliable application and storage of the chemistries we sell
o Oversee all new account transitions/installations to ensure smooth transition and customer satisfaction with products.
o Assure warehouse facility and equipment is maintained in a safe, clean, orderly condition and taking necessary steps to ensure a safe work environment for all employees
o Communicate with various personnel, departments, and vendors, by resolving questions, and/or issues, and coordinate activities needed for resolution
o Maintain clean and safe procedures in the warehouse and while working in the field and work in accordance with OSHA and DOT regulations
o Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
o Actively role model all company environmental, health and safety standards
o Special projects as required by the management team
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledgeable in primary materials of construction and tables to review chemical compatibilities
• Experience in safe handling of the chemistries we provide, and proper PPE required
• Experience in basic plumbing, electrical, and automated controllers preferred
• Experience in remote monitoring and communication technologies
• Experience in boiler and cooling water treatment and/or wastewater (pre-treatment and full treatment) operations
• Ability to travel away from home for extended periods of time
• Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to read and understand safety data sheets and types of chemical labeling
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (both in written and oral format) and maintain working relationships with employees, engineers, professional consultants, and sub-contractors
Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent, mechanical and/or technical degree acceptable
• Mechanical aptitude and experience preferred
• Strong work ethic with willingness to learn, must be able to adapt quickly
• Two (2) years relevant office experience
• Read, speak, understand, and write legible English
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to determine tools and equipment required to perform scope of job
• Effective time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work well under pressure
• Exceptional people skills to effectively interact with customers and various levels within Water Tech, Inc.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Must be willing to work in a hands-on team environment and take full responsibility for the success of the team
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; must be able to do mathematical calculations
• Familiarity with State, Federal and local OSHA regulations

• Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
