RIG WELDER - Pipeline Division

$42 hour/ $12 hour rig/ $130 per day per diem

Education and Experience Requirements:

Rig Welder MUST furnish dependable Rig Truck and tools to complete work.
3 - 5 years relevant pipeline experience preferred.
Possess extensive knowledge of welding procedures according to API 1104 WPS guidelines.
MUST be able to pass welding qualifications test.
Welding flame retardant long sleeves is required.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Travel is expected for this position.

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Interpretation of fabrication drawings to the extent necessary to utilize proper welding materials; regulates equipment as necessary for the work performed
Plans and produces metal forms or objects, or reconstructs damaged articles of various metals and alloys, utilizing hand tools, fixtures, jigs, and clamps.
Cuts metal using a torch and following diagrams or sketches
Ability to work from plans, sketches, specifications, and oral and written instructions
Perform other duties as assigned. Regardless of other duties, has a responsibility to follow HALL Contracting of Kentucky’s safety, and quality procedures.

Work Environment:
The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is required to use proper personal protection equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Hours of work vary based on project needs. Overtime as required.

Job Recruitment Information:

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must pass a credit check and/or background check.
Comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements.
No felonies in the past 7 years that are violent in nature or theft related. If older than 7 years, company will use it's discretion when making a hiring decision.
