We are looking for a Project Surveyor to join our Springfield, Missouri team.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee survey projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.
Sign and seal survey drawings in accordance with applicable regulations, standards, and professional guidelines.
Coordinate utility locates to ensure accurate mapping of existing infrastructure.
Review and verify survey drawings, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to project requirements.
Prepare and review legal documents, such as easements, right-of-way documents, and land descriptions.
Collaborate with project teams and clients to understand project objectives, provide expert advice, and offer innovative solutions.
Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks, meeting project deadlines, and delivering work of the highest quality.
Champion OWN's five guiding principles, fostering a culture of ownership, responsiveness, mutual success, and fun.

Qualifications

Licensed PLS in Missouri with the ability to obtain licensure in the adjoining state.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed PLS, demonstrating a track record of successful project execution.
Strong leadership skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing survey staff, both in the field and office.
Extensive experience in boundary, topographical, and ALTA surveys, as well as construction staking and the use of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles).
Proficiency in preparing CAD drawings, utilizing software such as Civil 3D, Pix4D, Carlson Survey, or equivalent.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, while also being self-motivated and customer service-oriented.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 25 pounds
Ability to sit for a long period of time
