Universal Drywall, a Nevell Group company is looking for an experiencedProject Managerto join our growing team. In this role, you’ll manage all aspects of commercial construction projects—leveraging your leadership, communication, and technical expertise to ensure successful outcomes from preconstruction through closeout.

What You’ll Do

Lead all phases of project execution, from planning to closeout, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Support field operations by coordinating materials, equipment, tools, and critical project information.
Review contract conditions and ensure compliance across the project team.
Oversee procurement and negotiate cost-effective contracts for labor and materials.
Manage project financials: budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and billing.
Coordinate closely with internal BIM and field teams to meet project design requirements.
Establish efficient workflows for submittals, approvals, documentation, and quality control.
Facilitate communication between owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Supervise, coach, and develop Project Engineers and other team members.
Conduct project walks, safety audits, and progress reviews regularly.
Lead project meetings, track progress, mitigate risks, and manage change orders.
Ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, or 5+ years of progressive experience in the drywall or commercial construction trade.
Deep knowledge of commercial construction practices, project scheduling, and cost management.
Proven ability to read and interpret architectural plans and technical specifications.
Strong communication and leadership skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in project management software and construction technologies.
Ability to lead teams, mentor junior staff, and manage multiple priorities.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
