We are currently seeing a Staff Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting Team located at our
corporate office in Irvine, CA. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy
of student ledgers, cash and credit card transactions for all entities. This is accomplished by
monitoring and auditing daily transactions for accuracy, completeness, conformance to procedural
standards and communicating with the campuses on a daily basis. Responsible for maintaining the
general accounting process.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Abide by generally accepted accounting principles and internal procedures and controls to
protect and preserve the Company’s assets.
Ensure the timely preparation of meaningful financial and government reports, which
accurately and fairly reflect the financial position of the Company.
Record, monitor, and report financial activity.
Prepare and post daily cash transactions
Monitor cash receipts
Responsible for daily/weekly and monthly cash reconciliations
Verify accuracy of general ledger and prepare journal entries as needed
Provide data to auditors and tax accountants as requested
Assist in the design and implementation of general accounting processes.
Back up for daily bank transactions.
Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from top management,
clients, customers, and the general public.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
1-3 years of related or equivalent experience preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-moving dynamic, environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Prior experience with financial accounting software applications.
Strong computer skillsspecifically Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
