Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Renton / On-site
Salary Range: $54,080 - $58,240

Overview of the Accounts Receivable Specialist role:

Managing and processing customer deductions related to product discrepancies (e.g., cases, bags) that may have been incorrectly tracked or deducted.
Investigating discrepancies in accounts receivable, partnering with internal teams and external customers to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Reviewing and analyzing large data sets using Microsoft Excel to generate reports and perform deep-dive analyses as needed.
Reconciling accounts receivable, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.
Collaborating with various teams to resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies.
Communicating professionally and effectively with customers to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Specialist Role:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role, with a solid understanding of financial reconciliations and deductions management.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience handling large data sets, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
Familiarity with Great Plains or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
