Department size of six in accounting plus another 4 in tax and 4 transactional accounting department that also feeds up

Here is WHAT you will do as Sr. Accountant:

Financial Statement review work and Consolidations of several sets of international books.

Inter-Company balancing and foreign currency conversion work.

Financial reporting along with consolidating reporting (foreign affiliates) currency conversion into US $, reclassifications of some items to report GAAP

Able to work on variance differences & explain them to external auditors and parent company by extracting data from the ERP to manipulate in Excel

Month end reporting – sales flash, management financial report, rebates, commissions

The Senior Accountant will compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
The Senior Accountant will also handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital for European entities.ASC842 responsibilities and/or ASC 606 working as main contact with third party (PwC)
Prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to monthly close process.
Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.

What we would LIKE to see in your background:

Bachelors’ degree in Accounting

Strong Excel skills and experience with a large ERP like Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or SAP a plus!

Manufacturing experience desired

ASC 842 lease accounting and/or ASC 606 a plus

All inclusive salary $70,000 to $85,000
