Look no further, because Stellar is seeking a talented HR Generalist to join the Stellar HR team!

As a HR Generalist at Stellar, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills and expertise in supporting one of our production departments by managing a broad range of human resource functions. This HR professional will provide day-to-day support and guidance to cross-functional site team members while coordinating the implementation of best-practices within the HR team.

Provides professional-level support to managers, staff, and the company in areas of recruitment, employee performance, compensation, benefits, engagement, and employee relations.
Point of contact for employees and company leaders regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns. Assists the business in conflict resolution and the timely addressing of issues.
Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and interviewing.
Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and benefit administration.
Supports leaves of absence administration, compliance, and tracking.
Applies labor law knowledge and independent decision making within the perimeters of company policy, as well as local, state, and federal law.
Drives initiatives to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.
Assists with Employee training and development.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
Maintain and analyze HR metrics and prepare reports on key HR activities, such as turnover rates and recruitment efforts.
Work with Human Resources team members to cross-train, streamline processes, and increase productivity.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Skills, Education, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. combination of education and experience.
1-3 years of prior experience in Human Resources or a related field.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to handle sensitive information and situations in a confidential, and discrete manner.
Time management skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
Prior experience with HRIS system(s).
Prior experience supporting a manufacturing organization.

Additional Requirements:

Company sponsored continuing education may be required.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
