As a HR Generalist at Stellar, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills and expertise in supporting one of our production departments by managing a broad range of human resource functions. This HR professional will provide day-to-day support and guidance to cross-functional site team members while coordinating the implementation of best-practices within the HR team.

- Provides professional-level support to managers, staff, and the company in areas of recruitment, employee performance, compensation, benefits, engagement, and employee relations.
- Point of contact for employees and company leaders regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns. Assists the business in conflict resolution and the timely addressing of issues.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and interviewing.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and benefit administration.
- Supports leaves of absence administration, compliance, and tracking.
- Applies labor law knowledge and independent decision making within the perimeters of company policy, as well as local, state, and federal law.
- Drives initiatives to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Assists with Employee training and development.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
- Maintain and analyze HR metrics and prepare reports on key HR activities, such as turnover rates and recruitment efforts.
- Work with Human Resources team members to cross-train, streamline processes, and increase productivity.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Essential Skills, Education, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of prior experience in Human Resources or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to handle sensitive information and situations in a confidential, and discrete manner.
- Time management skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Prior experience with HRIS system(s).
- Prior experience supporting a manufacturing organization.
Additional Requirements:
- Company sponsored continuing education may be required.
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
