As a Civil Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) you will be responsible for:
- Design and manage project teams to create abandoned mine land reclamation, remediation plans, and construction documents for WVDEP AML group.
- Opportunity to design and manage site development design and permitting for anything from industrial sites to a new school project.
- Quality control, client interfacing, budgeting, and mentoring and supervising junior engineers.
- Review the design aspects which will include site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities.
- Interacting with clients, contractors, and local government officials, you’ll impact the whole project - from concept, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.
Qualifications
- BS in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field;
- 7+ years experience;
- Possess Professional Engineering (PE) license in WV, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of start date;
- Experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D;
- Experience with the design of mine seals;
- Experience with highwall reclamation site design and layout;
- Ability to develop and review stormwater calculations and utilize Hydraulic and Hydrologic modelling software such as HydroCAD, HY-8, Hydraulic Toolbox, AutoCAD Storm and Sanitary Analysis, HEC-RAS, etc.;
- Experience with Acid Mine Discharge (AMD) treatment processes and mitigation - familiarity with OSMRE’s AMDTreat software a plus.
