Basic Function
As a Compliance Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the organization meets regulatory requirements and maintains a strong compliance culture across all levels.
Responsibilities

- Oversee compliance projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely follow-up, while verifying adherence to new and updated regulations.
- Lead state and federal examinations, coordinating the gathering of all required documentation, managing reconciliations, and implementing necessary updates to policies and procedures.
- Develop and disseminate company-wide communications, ensuring clarity and consistency across departments.
- Maintain compliance policies and procedures, including the creation and distribution of compliance bulletins, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints submitted via phone, mail, email, and regulatory bodies such as the CFPB and BBB, ensuring timely and satisfactory outcomes.
- Monitor social media accounts to confirm compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legal requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee company-wide compliance training, assigning, and tracking the completion of mandatory annual courses.
- Prepare and deliver compliance reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to keep leadership informed of progress and areas of concern.
- Manage the company's organizational chart, ensuring it remains current and reflective of the company’s structure.
- Take minutes during company leadership meetings, accurately documenting key decisions, action items, and discussions for future reference and distribution.
- Serve as the backup to the Compliance Fraud Support Analyst during absences, monitoring the SSI and Drive mailboxes to ensure timely response and resolution of any fraud-related issues.

Requirements
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, business administration or related field. 3 - 5 minimum mortgage industry experience required, with a focus on compliance or regulatory affairs.
Skills
- Knowledge of Regulations: Familiarity with mortgage regulations such as RESPA, TILA, and HMDA.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex regulations and translate them into actionable project plans.
- Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (any specific software we use to track projects?)
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and address compliance issues effectively.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Other Requirements:
This is an in-office position, located in Brentwood, TN. Must be able to successfully pass a criminal history information background check.
