We are looking for another dedicated person to join us. We have an immediate opening for a full time Capital Equipment Sales Specialist (CESS). If you have a passion for excellence and would like to join one of Santa Barbara County's top employers then we'd like to talk to you.
The CESS Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Supports the company's vision and mission statement as indicated in the employee manual and participates in the company's continuous improvement program (LEAN).
- Sets up and participates in sales and product training seminars and demonstrations either on site at the customer’s facilities or on site at a Hardy facility.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales (dollars & volume) and strategic objectives in assigned product, accounts/market segments.
- Follows up on all marketing generated leads within 48 hours following the reception of such lead.
- Visits Hospitals, Universities, Public Health Laboratories, Pharmaceutical/Personal
Care companies, Cannabis growers/processors, Food/Beverage Companies that are aligned with instrument design targets, to understand their testing activities, analyze their needs and present company instrument solutions to provide customer value and increase sales.
- Documents and reports on segment and pipeline performance KPI’s within the company’s CRM and/or during Sales/Marketing/Management meetings.
- Collaborates with Marketing in building segment brand and product awareness through planning, supporting and implementing product presentations and training.
- Supports and mentors company sales representatives to assure their proficiency in representing assigned instrument products to become a qualified lead.
- Sells instruments directly, and third party finance partners as needed.
- Stays informed on new competitive/complimentary products and technologies entering the market.
- Requires up to 60% travel and field time to participate where needed on a national level for both customer sales and support calls.
- Documents all activities, calls, meetings, plans within the company’s Customer Relationship Managements System (CRM).
- Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned
A four year degree from an accredited institution is required as is five years of demonstrated successful laboratory/medical instrument sales experience. Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred.
