Qualifications and Job Duties:
- Must have a PE License with 5+ years of experience in an MEP consulting engineering firm conducting the design of building electrical systems. LEED accreditation preferred.
- Must have in-depth knowledge on application of NFPA70E (National Electrical Code), International Energy Conservation Code, NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code), and the International Building Code.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit/BIM software required.
- Must have demonstrated ability to work both independently and closely with others in a team environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with project teams and clients; lead project teams through the design process to include review meetings with owners, coordination meetings with other firms, and resolve conflicts tactfully and in a timely manner.
- Ability to self-check work and perform outside reviews of other projects to support internal quality control protocols.
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record required.
- Ability to travel unassisted out-of-town and overnight to project sites.
