SUMMARY: Performs Deburring process and provides Machine Shop support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Set-up and run Progressive Stamping Dies in Presses ranging from 15-60 tons.
- Inspect parts and log information on data sheets.
- Use coil handling equipment such as servo feeds, automatic straighteners, and reels.
- Communicate cross departmentally to ensure product requirements are being met.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Requires knowledge typically acquired through:
- Completion of a High School diploma or general education degree (GED),
- One month to two years related experience or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
