Job Summary
Under the direction of the Branch Management team, the Rigging Sewing Fabricator position plays a vital role in the company. The Rigging Sewing Fabricator team member is responsible for producing high-quality fabric products that contribute to the safety and functionality of various applications used in lifting, securing, and transporting heavy loads. This specialized position is an expert in fabricating techniques to create durable and precise fabric components that meet rigorous safety standards and has great attention to detail in order to ensure the production of high-quality and reliability for our customers in various industries. This role is a key contributor to ensuring the integrity and reliability of our products.
Essential Functions

- Operate industrial sewing machines and related equipment to fabricate fabric products, including slings, covers, and rigging components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Cut, sew, and assemble fabric materials according to established guidelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to prioritize and fulfill orders in a timely manner.
- Inspect and test finished fabric products for quality, identifying and addressing any defects or deviations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine equipment maintenance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and practices to ensure a secure work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
- Working in moderately noisy environments, normal for warehouse environments, or industrial settings.
- Regular use industrial sewing machines and tools.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and repetitive movements throughout the workday.
- Occasionally climb stairs.
- Some lifting, carrying, and maneuvering of materials and finished products.
- Adherence to safety protocols and use of appropriate Personal Protection Equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Successfully pass drug test screenings throughout employment.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
- Basic and written communication skills to interact with team members.
- Commit to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols.
- Demonstrating accountability for personal performance and quality of work.
- Proficient in operating industrial sewing machines and related tools.
- Familiarity with fabric types, sewing techniques, and material handling.
- Attention to details and commitment to delivering error-free results.
- Dependable and punctual with a commitment to attendance and work schedules.
- Adherence to company policies, procedures, and the proper use of company resources.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Education
High school diploma, or equivalent evidence of educational proficiency at the high school level.
Experience
Previous experience in industrial sewing and fabricating roles is preferred.
