Job Description

Ray's is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Deli Associate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving deli products, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and slice deli meats, cheeses, and other products according to customer requests and company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of deli equipment, counters, and work areas.
Assist customers by answering questions, making recommendations, and fulfilling special orders.
Ensure proper labeling and rotation of deli products to maintain freshness and quality.
Operate deli equipment safely and efficiently.
Stock and replenish deli cases and displays as needed.
Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a deli or food service environment preferred but not required.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and portion control.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
