We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join us at Emerson Construction!

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as a skid loader, wheel loader, trencher, skid steer, backhoe, and a 390,349 excavator
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Perform various specialized skills, including, but not limited to - road building, fine grading, finishing, sloping, banking, backfilling, demolition, ditching, loading, excavating, stockpiling, building, loading trucks, and trenching

Requirements:

Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator
Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance procedures
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and successfully complete the E-Verify process.
