IMMI

IMMI is a 100% employee-owned manufacturing company headquartered in Westfield, Indiana. The company was founded in 1961 under the name Auto-Safe, that produced and distributed seat belts for the automotive industry. Since those early days, IMMI's trajectory has been marked by steady expansion and continuous evolution. Over the decades, IMMI has evolved into a global company who has been integral to pioneering innovations, designing cutting-edge safety solutions, rigorous testing, and precision manufacturing of advanced safety systems. IMMI takes pride the distinction of being the world's longest-standing privately owned manufacturer of seat belts. Today, IMMI operates seven offices including international offices in the United Kingdom, China, Italy, and Mexico. 

In 2022, IMMI became employee-owned when the implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Employee owners at IMMI are a dedicated team who are passionate about their work creating innovative safety solutions. Through this shared mission and hard work, employees contribute to the success of the company. Because they are owners, employees get to benefit from their labor through their ESOP.
