In 1986, Recology established its Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) placing the sense of ownership in the minds, hearts, and hands of each employee-owner. Founded in 1920 by people who thought differently about resource recovery, Recology continues to provide service to 127 communities throughout California, Oregon, and Washington.
