ColdFusion Web Application Developer
Maple Grove, MN

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

Drive the profitability and direction through the implementation and support of a companywide ColdFusion intranet web site, and numerous external and internal ColdFusion web applications. If you are an experienced ColdFusion web developer with strong leadership capabilities and you are looking for a rewarding career at a growing company this is the job for you. You will work as a key technical resource directly with the business and IT to deliver high-quality and efficient integration solutions across the organization.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide full life-cycle software development expertise from concept to deployment which includes application architecture, design input, user-interface, database management, and back-end development

· Code proactively with an eye towards scalability, testing and stabilization

· Participate on multiple projects in a dynamic environment

· Support and maintain database-driven ColdFusion web applications

· Define any necessary patch or upgrade strategies based on the lifecycle of the software

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 5 years of experience in software development using ColdFusion, SQL Server/MySQL, and stored procedures.

· Expert ColdFusion CFML/cfscript development experience

· Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML and jQuery

· Strong programming skills including software engineering methodologies and best practices

· Proven experience in database design, implementation, optimization, and knowledge of SQL using SQL server and MySQL databases

· Excellent problem-solving/debugging skills

· Knowledge of ColdFusion web services a plus

· Working knowledge SQL server stored procedures

· Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to convey a positive and professional image in person, on the telephone, and in correspondence.

· Strong project management and people skills including attention to detail, organization, planning, and follow-through

· Availability to work off-hours as needed

· Ability to travel occasionally – examples include technology seminars, company meetings, etc.

· Good attendance and punctuality is required in order to fulfill the essential job functions.

· Ability to prioritize and see tasks through to completion within a tight schedule.

· Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
