We are seeking a skilled Welding Technician to join our commercial construction team. In this role, you’ll perform welding, fabrication, and installation work on structural steel, piping, and pressure vessels. The work is hands-on, safety-focused, and may include boiler repair and pressure-vessel welding. This position requires successful completion of 6G, D1.1, and R-Stamp (carbon and stainless steel) welding tests prior to hire. Steady, year-round work with opportunities to expand your skill set. What You’ll Do Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols. Perform MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-core welding on steel and piping systems. Measure, cut, and shape metal using hand and power tools. Fabricate and install welded components at job sites to spec. Assist with boiler and pressure-vessel welding projects. Inspect finished welds for quality and compliance. Maintain welding tools and equipment for safe, reliable use. Partner with engineers, project managers, and field teams. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (required); Completion of welding certification/apprenticeship (preferred). 2+ years commercial or industrial welding experience; boiler/pressure-vessel a plus. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-core welding. Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols. Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety. Solid communication and teamwork skills. Successful completion of a weld/fit test prior to hire. Pre-hire physical, background check, and drug screening required. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
