ROLE: Warehouse Manager POSITION SUMMARY: You will be contributing to the company’s plan by always looking for ways to improve technician efficiency by having the proper truck stock, accurate inventory counts, and efficient part runner dispatching. You will ensure that we are able to accomplish our growth plans by assisting the fleet team with vehicle fit outs, & inventory swaps. You will ensure that our local vendor relationships are strong & aligned with our regional purchasing plans. You will manage staff and drive them to maintain a safe and accountable workplace. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities Develop & maintain a strong understanding of Service Titan for inventory management Monitor vendor pricing Run inventory reports and make warehouse adjustments appropriately and accurately. Manage truck stock inventory and replenishment. Optimize parts request process Asset tracking (tools and vehicles) Maintain up to date material pricing in Service Titan Assist with fleet procurement, disposal, & upfitting process Work with director in alignment of supply house product offering, pricing, strengths and locations to maximize efficiency Set individual goals and KPI’s for all staff positions Assist with creation of annual budget, control expenses and meet or exceed plan Monitor staff performance to ensure that accuracy and safety goals are met Hold regular 1 on 1 meetings with staff All other duties as assigned by the Director of Purchasing & Design Director Purchasing Manage material return process Manage warranty return process Manage purchase order process and material receiving process Assist in product and material research for technicians Manage installs, with regards to material and equipment staging and materials fulfillment Fleet/Truck Stock Manage truck inventory cycle count and full count process Manage new truck inventory set up process Manage truck replenishment process Manage staff fielding calls from tech/install crews on materials needed for jobs. Facilitating the best place to source and use of warehouse staff to deliver. Then coordinate deliveries to and from job sites Vehicle maintenance – tracking, scheduling, maintenance, and repairs Tools Manage tool maintenance and repairs Manage tool and equipment check in/out process Warehouse/Safety Manage warehouse staff daily to maximize efficiency to streamline operations Ensures warehouse is neat & clean Manage warehouse inventory process for full and cycle counts Manage warehouse replenishment process Ensure consistent and overall safety within the warehouse QUALIFICATION/SKILLS: Possess the ability to multi-task Strong sense of time organization and urgency Able to work independently and within a team Ability to be self-motivated and maintain a flexible work schedule Proficient oral and written communication skills Must possess proficient computer skills Be willing to travel to other locations as needed MINIMUM / PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: High school diploma, completion of G.E.D. 3 + years of warehouse management work experience Must possess personal computer and smart phone skills to include the ability to work with Microsoft products such as Outlook and Excel.
