The Senior HR Generalist assists in the development and execution of HR strategies in several functional areas to advance business operations and provide high quality HR services to our employees. These functional areas include talent acquisition, employee relations, training, HR procedures and programs. This role also handles and supports daily operations, resolving complex issues, driving engagement and organizational development.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned HR professional with at least eight years of progressive experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. This individual is highly skilled in talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and is adept at navigating complex HR situations while partnering strategically with leaders across multiple locations. In addition, this individual will possess exceptional communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset. They are committed to improving the employee experience and driving initiatives that align with company objectives.
Shift/Hours: 1st Shift Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary range for this position is $80,000 to $105,000. The exact salary may be determined on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.

Essential Functions
- Assist with the development and management of internal HR Policies, Procedures, and Programs.
- Strategically supports various functions of the business for multiple locations including employee relations, training/development, talent acquisitions, onboarding and new hire orientation ensuring alignment with HR best practices.
- Maintains electronic employee files within our HRIS system (Dayforce/Ceridian)
- Ensure organization/division/location compliance to legal and company policies and requirements.
- Lead and/or participate in HR-specific projects and initiatives while ensuring alignment with company goals and initiatives.
- Train and partner with leaders on supervisory related responsibilities such as performance management.
- Navigate complex HR related situations at all levels of the company and contribute to the decision-making process.
- Identify areas of opportunity to improve the employee experience and develop and implement solutions.
- Complete all HR tasks associated with the employee onboarding and offboarding processes to include exit interviews where appropriate.
- Identify recruiting sources and strategies to identify quality candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers on the recruiting and selection process.

Required
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment and/or administrative level experience with emphasis on employee relations.
- Strong understanding of state and federal employment regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving / resolution strategies
Preferred
- HR Certification (i.e. PHR/SPH, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
