The CNC Machinist II - Lathes is responsible for setting up and operating CNC Lathe machines. This role performs a series of progressive machining operations with close and exacting tolerances.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, able to independently set up and operate CNC Lathes, troubleshoot issues that may arise, conduct first piece and in-process inspections, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and other team members.
Hourly Rate: The anticipated starting hourly rate for this position is $29.00 to $37.00. The exact hourly rate may be determined by using a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.

Shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
Essential Functions
- Work from programming instructions, operational data and machine set up instructions defining and coding tool arrangements, material clamping methods, machine calibrations and console settings.
- Check parts for conformance to specifications.
- Operators may be required to run more than one unit simultaneously
- Apply a broad knowledge of machining techniques and CNC operational procedures.

Required
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 years of related experience
- Ability to perform metric conversions
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings
Preferred
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- 4 or more years of related experience
