As they expand, they are seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Pricing Analyst to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping pricing strategies that maximize profitability, competitiveness, and customer value. Senior Pricing Analyst Responsibilities:
- Analyze pricing and operational data, market trends, and customer insights to develop pricing models and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Sales, R&D and Operations teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of pricing strategies, via annual price reviews and updates and adjust based on customer feedback and internal KPIs.
- Conduct margin analysis, including price, mix, volume analysis and cost-to-serve evaluations to support pricing decisions. Collaborate cross functionally to support conclusions.
- Perform Return on Investment and “What If” scenario analysis for various investments around sales/customer initiatives.
- Develop and maintain pricing tools, dashboards, and reports for internal stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying efficiencies and providing reporting, specifically around inventory management.
- Support new product launches with pricing and scenario planning, including establishing rebate and penalty structures by developing a strong understanding of the Company’s overhead structure.
- Provide insights on customer segmentation and price elasticity to inform profit optimization strategies.
- Perform various month end close activities.
- Support interim and year end audit activities related to product costing.
- Other analysis and activities as assigned.
Senior Pricing Analyst Educations and Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of pricing analysis experience, ideally in food or consumer goods.
- Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial modeling.
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
- Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with strong presentation skills.
- Organizational skills to manage competing priorities effectively.
- ERP experience
- Knowledge of promotional pricing, trade spend analysis, and channel-specific strategies preferred.
