This position will report to BBEC, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global. To perform this job successfully, the Industrial Service Technician must be able to perform each Essential Duty successfully. The requirements listed below are indicative of knowledge, skills and abilities required: Excellent customer service relationship skills. Diagnose and repair of electrical equipment, lighting, power, emergency power systems, switch gear, transformers, Machinery, Motors, Control circuits, VFDs and PLCs etc. Installation of power distribution, transformers, industrial controls, VFDs. Installation and relocation of machinery. Industrial control circuits revisions and upgrades. Testing and troubleshooting motors. Preform preventative maintenance. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, voltage, meggers and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues. Record keeping and tracking of all labor and material on all jobs daily. Keep an orderly and well stocked van to make service calls as efficient as possible This individual is responsible for planning, scheduling, assigning, participating in, and inspecting the work of electricians and apprentices on service calls up and special projects up to $100,000.00. Order or requisition materials, equipment, or supplies. Train others in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, or company policies. Identify the developmental needs of others and coach, mentor, or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge or skills Read specifications, blueprints, and submittal data to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures. Interpret the meaning of this information for others by translating or explaining what the information means and how it can be used. Confer with the project manager & estimators, or other contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities. Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs utilizing daily/weekly goal tracking. Must possess the ability to work collaboratively with a team or autonomously as a single electrician on a given project On call for after hour emergency on a rotation schedule. Welcome!
