Sanitation Technician

Reporting To: Food Safety Manager

Compensation: $17.50 - $19.50 / hour

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Perform sanitation according to established COVID protocols
Performs sanitation duties according to the SQF master sanitation schedule
Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and polishes floors
Cleans in and around warehouse, including packaging equipment/machinery
Cleans restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
Ensures outside building area is clean and free of garbage/litter
Ensures janitorial supplies are stocked and communicates any order needs to supervisor
Use required chemicals in a safe and responsible manner, only for intended us
Performs sanitation tasks in a timely manner, in accordance with sanitation schedules
When applicable, handles disposal of recyclables
Communicate with management and other maintenance personnel on a timely basis to facilitate maintenance and repairs.
Comply with company safety policies and maintain clean and orderly work area.
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms.
Perform other duties as assigned by Quality Control Supervisor.
