Job Summary
The HRIS Analyst plays a key role in managing and optimizing HR technology systems to support our growing workforce of 1,700+ employees. This position oversees HRIS development, implementation, and maintenance—including performance management, applicant tracking, onboarding, benefits portals, and paperless filing systems. The HRIS Specialist also serves as a resource and trainer for HR team members and leaders, ensuring systems are used effectively to meet business goals.
In addition to core responsibilities, candidates with experience in HRIS implementation, LMS administration, or database management will bring valuable expertise to this role. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools—such as Excel, Outlook, Teams, or SharePoint—is strongly preferred, and candidates with related Microsoft certifications will stand out. A PHR (SHRM) certification is also considered a plus.
This is a hybrid, on‑site role in Danville, IL following initial training, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on impactful projects that enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a tech-savvy HR professionals who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys leading projects, and is passionate about creating seamless HR experiences for employees and leaders.
Lead the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of HRIS systems by developing project plans, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and ensuring effective execution.
Audit HRIS data regularly for accuracy, completeness, and compliance; maintain system inputs, configurations, data dictionaries, workflows, and updates.
Administer HRIS platforms in collaboration with the VP of HR and in alignment with broader Information Technology strategies.
Manage the performance appraisal process, ensuring tools are updated, leaders are trained, compliance deadlines are met, and issues are escalated to Senior Leadership as needed.
Contribute to the design, content, and ongoing enhancement of the HR intranet to improve employee engagement and streamline access to HR resources.
Implement and maintain electronic personnel file systems in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Lead the implementation and optimization of HRIS payroll/personnel systems, including enhancements that leverage automation and AI‑driven capabilities.
Develop and deliver HRIS training, including user manuals, presentations, FAQs, and step‑by‑step guides for employees and leaders.
Design, build, and troubleshoot custom HRIS reports; collaborate with Information Systems to develop, test, and refine reporting tools and dashboards.
Prepare statistical and analytical HR reports for Executive Leadership, including turnover metrics and required U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics submissions.
Partner with Information Systems, Marketing, Accounting, and other departments on cross‑departmental projects requiring HRIS integration (e.g., intranet enhancements, user setup, data workflows, system testing).
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of HRIS development, implementation, or administration experience.
- Advanced proficiency in HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now or Lyric highly desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with leaders across all organizational levels.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to train others
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to typ 40 WPM is required
Nice to Have:
- Experience with HRIS implementation and Learning Management System (LMS) administration is a plus.
- Experience with ADP is preferred.
- PHR certification (SHRM) preferred
- Experience with web development, intranet design, and database management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (such as Excel, Outlook, Teams, or SharePoint) is strongly preferred; candidates with related Microsoft certifications will stand out

Compensation & Compliance
The posted salary reflects CCMSI’s good-faith estimate in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. This role may also qualify for bonuses or additional forms of pay.
