Business Development Associate
We are searching for a
Business Development Associate who will Manage franchisee relationships including identifying systems needed, supporting the creation of action plans, and navigating internal department processes such as franchise renewals, Finance reporting, AP/AR issues, and Customer Service. This role will partner with the Business DevelopmentConsultant (BDC) team to support franchisee workshops and seminars, and coaching for operational excellence, and enforcing brand standards by providing high-level business consulting expertise and advice to a defined group of franchisees. All activities and franchisee support are conducted through telephone, web-enabled platforms.
What You Will Do
- Help identify with Franchisee what systems need to be in place for a specific Franchise Business by providing or researching the answers.
- Assist in developing plans, support those affected by the change and help monitor transition and evaluate results.
- Effectively assist franchises with needs related to other internal departments such as Insurance Compliance, Finance, Claims Review, and Customer Service.
- Provide value-added sales, marketing, operational, and technical support to a defined group of franchise owners over the phone/web format.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience for National Accounts and regional Customers by working internally with account management and sales teams.
- Assist the BDC team in analyzing financial data such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow reviews, financial key performance indicators, and pricing strategies.
- Drive revenue growth by developing regional customer target lists and marketing strategies for Franchisees, Regional Sales, or the BDC team.
- Identify Franchise needs and opportunities to improve performance and growth by leveraging company operating systems or resources.
- Drive adoption of the Franchisor systems’, software, and best practices in Franchisee business and provide action plans with timing to resolve any system noncompliance.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience or combination of both.
- 4-5+ years in equivalent experience in a like role of business development.
- Customer service, sales experience, or experience in a previous franchising-facing role preferred.
- Restoration Industry technical knowledge preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Work Location:This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S., excluding Los Angeles County.
Compensation Details
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At SMB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ 85,000 to $95,000 plus incentive.
