ABOUT THE ROLE

You will help manage, organize, and move finished goods and work-in-progress materials, making a direct impact on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities

Actively support the Company’s goals and operational objectives by ensuring efficient and accurate material movement.
Prepare, stage, and coordinate customer and outside-processing shipments, including assigning products in SAP for final delivery posting and ASN generation.
Load and unload customer trucks within designated time windows to maintain on-time delivery performance.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of Advance Shipment Notices (ASNs) after each shipment.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized finished goods and storage area.
Verify customer dunnage counts and condition upon receipt, ensure accurate documentation on Bills of Lading, and assist production with proper storage practices.
Receive components and miscellaneous materials, verify quantities and condition, apply internal barcode labels, and store items in designated locations.
Distribute receiving and shipping documentation to appropriate departments, including Purchasing and Customer Service.
Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory activities to ensure inventory accuracy.
Provide backup support to the Material Control Coordinator, including use of SAP, SMART systems, and shipping reports.
Collaborate closely with the Material Control Coordinator, Production Supervisors, and Materials Manager to support smooth daily operations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Must be able to work a 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM workday as well as the ability to work evenings and weekends or overtime when necessary
Must have good organizational skills and function in a very fast paced environment
Work may require extended periods of sitting, standing, lifting, bending, and stopping
Excellent manual dexterity, ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with continuous exposure to noise
