The Integration Platform Developer is responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of IT systems integration capabilities that support the company business strategies and objectives.
What Makes You a Fit
- A four year degree in information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Three plus years’ experience in the areas of integration platform development around an ERP system.
- Three plus years of experience with integrating applications.
- Familiar with techniques related to automating platforms and deployments, unit and integration testing.
- Experience with integration design principles and integration tooling (API gateway, eventing, etc.)
- Experience in java development, the Spring ecosystem, micro services architecture, and domain driven design.
- Exposure on one or more cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud).
- Proficiency with Linux and containerization
- Advanced analytical, conceptual, and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to translate an idea or need into a completed solution or work product.
- Solid experience in generating standardized documentation.
- Must be analytical with the ability to apply data and solve problems creatively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, listening and verbal).
- Must be self-motivated and work independently.
- Must be a team player, amenable to a variety of work projects.
- Willing and able to travel occasionally, including overnight travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integration components.
- Develop test scenarios and plans for ensuring scalability, repeatability, resilience, and administrative operations of integrated solutions.
- Perform administrative tasks on integration platform technologies (solution implementations, upgrades, and enhancements).
- Contribute to the creation/maintenance/adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and control processes for the Integration Platform.
- Participate in all aspects of solution delivery life cycle including analysis, estimation, design, coding, testing, production deployment, and support.
- Apply standard integration patterns and practice to designing and building of integration services to ensure they are fit for purpose, secure, scalable and maintainable.
- Keep abreast with industry technologies and tools in the integration domain.
- This role provides technical consulting to management, business users, and teammates as well as actual programming services to bring those desired solutions to production.
