Overview
MSA Professional Services is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of strategic technology initiatives across the organization. This role manages projects ranging from infrastructure modernization and cybersecurity initiatives to enterprise data platforms, cloud solutions, and application improvements.
The Senior IT Project Manager partners with IT teams, business leaders, and external vendors to translate organizational needs into structured project plans and ensure successful implementation. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to guide complex technology initiatives in a collaborative environment.
This position is ideal for an experienced IT Project Manager, Technology Program Manager, or PMO leader who thrives in a multi-disciplinary organization and enjoys working across teams to deliver meaningful technology improvements.

Responsibilities
What you will do:
Project Leadership & Execution
Lead IT projects from initiation through completion using established project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and success criteria in partnership with stakeholders.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and communication strategies.
Track project performance including scope, budget, schedule, risks, and deliverables.
Coordinate work across infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, helpdesk, data engineering, and application teams.
Manage third-party vendors and technology partners.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with internal business partners and leadership.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business leaders.
Provide regular project updates, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
Implementation & Delivery
Lead project lifecycle activities including planning, execution, testing, deployment, and closeout.
Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Oversee testing processes including user acceptance testing (UAT).
Ensure projects align with IT governance, cybersecurity standards, and enterprise architecture practices.
Manage deployment planning, cutover coordination, and transition to operational support.
Strategic Contributions
Support IT portfolio planning and project prioritization.
Facilitate Agile-style delivery practices for analytics or data initiatives.
Contribute to modernization initiatives including:
Cloud migration
Enterprise data platforms
Data lake / lakehouse architectures
Cybersecurity improvements
Support organizational change management including training and adoption planning.
Qualifications
What you bring:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience
10+ years of project management experience, preferably within technology or enterprise IT environments.
Experience managing cross-functional IT initiatives involving infrastructure, data, and application teams.
Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is helpful but not required.
Certifications
Skills & Knowledge
Strong experience managing complex enterprise technology projects
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery frameworks
Experience with risk management, governance, and change management
Familiarity with cloud technologies, enterprise data platforms, or cybersecurity initiatives
Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project, Power BI, or other PMO reporting tools
Strong analytical and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining attention to detail

Competitive Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $140,000, with higher compensation available for candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
