Join Smartpress as our Sales & Customer Experience Intern! In this role, you'll support our team by interacting with customers via phone, chat, and email, helping them navigate their print needs and ensuring a positive experience. If you’re eager to develop your communication skills, work in a collaborative environment, and gain hands-on experience in the print industry, this internship is a great step toward your career goals!

Shift available: Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (hybrid work environment between office and remote working locations)

Compensation: $20.00 Hourly

A variety of these traits will help land you this job if you:

are currently pursuing a degree in print or a related field
are familiar with editing and design management software

On top of that you must:

demonstrate initiative, a willingness to learn and effective problem-solving skills.
have the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time, while remaining calm under pressure.
have a high degree of personal integrity and the ability to manage sensitive or confidential information.
be articulate, personable and professional in all forms of communication.

In this position, you will:

prepare for customer phone calls, emails and chat inquiries through continuous learning of our products, processes and policies.
effectively manages a large volume of incoming and outgoing customer calls, emails and chats.
identify and assess customer expectations, aiming to achieve total customer satisfaction.
respond to customer inquiries with understanding and empathy.
resolve product and service issues in a timely manner, determines root cause of issue and finds the resolution that best meets the customer’s needs.
send prospective customers sample products and printed examples.
investigate, review, and respond to customer complaints.
assist in resolving issues with shipping vendors.
assist in entering rework tickets as needed.
effectively establishes a warm and friendly tone with the customer through phone contact.
other duties as assigned by management.
