Description: Responsible for monitoring merchandise leaving the warehouse and ensuring customers receive items ordered in a timely manner. An ideal candidate thrives in an environment that requires attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to switch quickly between tasks. Tasks include creating shipping documents such as invoices, purchase orders, SLIs, and BOLs, and learning software from different shipping entities, including solving software-related problems. Must be able to prioritize production activities with Respool and OQC for OTS. May include acting as a liaison between customers and the company to ensure that products and documents are received quickly and efficiently.KPI'sAnnual KPI's will be established with assistance from the Production Control Supervisor. Establishing and meeting KPIs are essential requirements of this position.

Additional Requirements:- Employees will process orders based on the customer's preferred shipping method (i.e., UPS, FedEx, freight forwarder)
- These duties include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating deliveries to customers
- Preparing shipping documents and labels that correspond to customer needs.
- Maintaining good relationships with shipping companies
- Working effectively with the sales department.
Physical Functions:- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 55 lbs.

We are especially interested in candidates who can strengthen our shipping knowledge in the following areas:- ECCN / Export Controls: Working knowledge of export classification (ECCN) and export documentation; able to support classifications and compliance data when we act as exporter of record, including coordination with internal stakeholders and our customs broker.
- HTS / Tariff classification: Experience assigning or validating HTS codes and understanding tariff/duty impacts when we are responsible for classification; able to partner with a broker to confirm classifications and resolve discrepancies.
- ACE portal / U.S. customs processes: Familiarity with the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) and common customs-entry data elements; able to perform applicable ACE-related activities and/or provide accurate data to our broker for entry.
- Customs issue resolution: Proven ability to troubleshoot and “unstick” delayed international shipments (e.g., holds, missing documentation, exams) by driving timely communication with customers (for customer-routed freight), freight forwarders, and our customs broker.
- International shipping documentation: Experience preparing and validating commercial invoices, certificates of origin, AES/EEI workflows (as applicable), and other documents required by destination, Incoterms, and broker/customer requirements; ensures data accuracy to prevent delays.
Physical & Environmental Requirements: The production environment is typical of many indoor manufacturing facilities. This is a “Safety First” facility P.P.E. gear is mandatory with no exceptions. The noise generated within the facility is moderate but sometimes using certain equipment may require hearing protection.
