Payroll Administrator
Location: Danbury, FT onsite
Compensation: $65,000 + depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll across multiple divisions
- Administer union payroll in accordance with collective bargaining agreements
- Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of prevailing wage rates, fringes, and classifications
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Maintain detailed payroll records, including job costing, labor allocations, and deductions
- Manage payroll data across multiple systems (HH2, Workeasy, BambooHR, Sage), ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
- Partner closely with HR and Finance on new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Support payroll reconciliations, reporting, and year-end processes
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of payroll experience within the construction industry
- Hands-on experience with union payroll processing
- Strong knowledge of prevailing wage laws and certified payroll reporting
- Experience managing multiple payroll schedules simultaneously
- Familiarity with Sage 300 CRE (Timberline) strongly preferred
- High level of accuracy, organization, and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
