Are you a detail-driven problem solver with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Smartpress Team who willlead the charge on high-value, custom print projects that go beyond the ordinary. In this role, you’ll manage complex, one-of-a-kind jobs from initial concept through final delivery ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed.
As the key point of contact between clients, vendors, and internal teams, you'll serve as the go-to expert who keeps projects on track and clients delighted. Projects may involve specialty print finishes, kitting programs, and outsourced production all which require a high level of coordination, creativity, and accountability.

Shift available: Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with a minimum of 3 days in the office.

In this position, you will:
- Client and Sales Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales and Account Management to scope and execute high-value, custom print projects.
- Deliver exceptional communication and white-glove service to key clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Ownership
- Manage all phases of custom projects, from vendor coordination and production scheduling to quality assurance and final delivery.
- Oversee the complete order placement process: create and submit purchase orders, coordinate internal and external approvals, and manage proofing and production timelines.
- Vendor Management
- Work directly with preferred print partners and third-party vendors to fulfill specialized orders and overflow production needs.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for unique production techniques such as die-cutting, foil stamping, and other embellishments.
- Production & Logistics Coordination
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to all shipping, tracking, and billing data.
- Coordinate kitting and fulfillment for multi-component projects, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and client specifications.
- Process Improvement & Innovation
- Collaborate with internal teams—including Workflow, Product Development, and Collaterate—to build new workflows and scalable solutions for non-standard projects.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for outsourcing, innovation, and process improvements.
- Technical & Creative Support
- Maintain a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite tools (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) to support creative and technical review processes.
- Other Duties
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management to support the overall success of the Online Project Management team.

Compensation Range: $56,000 - 66,000annually
*Range reflects our good-faith assessment of our hiring range for this role based on market conditions, experience level, and internal equity considerations.
