POSITION SUMMARY

Machine production parts to blueprint.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Load/unload fixtures and change out parts for two machines
Debur parts
Package parts
Rotate inserts and change tools
Collaborate with machine partner to schedule part runs
Routine machine maintenance including but not limited to filling oils and coolant
Responsible for making minor adjustments to programs and troubleshoot as needed
Pressure test
Perform in process inspection (Micrometer, caliper, thread gauges, etc.)
Understand Palletech computer and Mazak control
Additional Functions for Leel II & III Palletech Machinists
- Set up new jobs
- Perform program edits
- Read and understand CMM reports
- Repair and rework parts
- Understand complex functions of Palletech computer
- Understand scheduling
Follows all 6S procedures, ISO/quality procedures, and all safety procedures and protocols.
Additional duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High School Graduate or Equivalent

Experience:

At least 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred.

Skills & Other Qualifications:

Proficient with hand-tools
Strong mechanical capability
Self-driven and motivated
Strong verbal communication skills & ability to collaborate with shift partner and supervisor.

Our second shift employee-owners work 4 days and enjoy a long 3-day weekend! On top of that they also receive a 7% shift premium!
