The Bernard Group is looking for an enthusiastic Shipping/Packing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you ensure the packaging of all materials are shipped safely and prevent any damage during transport.

Shift available: Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

A variety of these traits will help land you this job. If you have:

a high school diploma or GED
previous warehouse experience, preferred
experience in shipping and transportation management software is a plus

On top of that you must:

pay close attention to details on every project
have basic computer skills, including Pace and Google
be self-motivated, a fast learner, and show initiative to seek out customer and corporate needs
plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your own work
have the ability to work independently, make decisions and solve moderate level problems independently, effectively and creatively
complete projects accurately within deadlines, while meeting company quality standards
apply effective time management and self-management skills
understand and maintain the confidential nature of company, employee and customer information
flourish in a team-oriented environment
have a positive attitude always
can handle change in stride
adaptable to a fast-paced environment

In this position you'll:

ensure the packaging of product is sufficient enough so no damage occurs during shipping.
process shipments on FedEx, UPS and our internal transportation management system.
work with the shipping lead to make sure inventory of packaging material is kept at a sufficient level.
capture all accurate dims and weights on all outbound packages.
use best practices for who we use for shipments for both cost and service.
perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management.

Compensation Range: $43,160- $46,592 annually (This base pay range does not include additional compensation such as shift differentials).

*Range reflects our good-faith assessment of our hiring range for this role based on market conditions, experience level, and internal equity considerations.
