Job Responsibilities

Independently analyzes CDTFA registration data to confirm that it accurately reflects where companies are operating and/or engaging in taxable sales activity.
Cross-references data from a variety of sources, including (but not limited to) city business license files, telephone directories, individual company websites, business journals, Yelp and Google.
Compare and analyze large data sets to isolate opportunities for revenue enhancement for local government clients.
Perform initial research of discrepancies to further refine potential lead lists.
Documents research and findings within the company’s proprietary software applications.

Qualifications

Strong research & analytical skills, with the ability to spot relevant trends, anomalies, and opportunities in large sets of data.
Strong computer skills, with the ability to effectively use a variety of software programs including HdL sales and property tax applications and Microsoft Office.
A demonstrated ability to work independently with a very high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Open-minded and receptive to constructive feedback, maintains a humble and approachable demeanor.
Professionally assertive with a positive attitude and commitment to the team goals and objectives.

Education and Experience

High school Diploma
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

Compensation

The starting base salary for this Breaposition is expected to be between $19 to $21 /per hour. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
