HR Assistant

Acadian Ambulance has an immediate opening for a full-time HR Assistant in our Human Resources Department. The HR Assistant will provide administrative support on day to day activities.

Duties And Responsibilities

Work directly with the HR team members to support the department with various miscellaneous projects
Process, verify and assist with day-to-day data entry and documentation relating to personnel activities
Address and respond to general HR inquiry calls and escalating issues as appropriate
Audit and Assist with maintaining personnel files for all employees in accordance with established procedures
Submits monthly driving record request to background vendor then reviews and ensures driving reports are in good standing according to policy
All other additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Job Qualifications

High School degree or equivalent
Previous Human Resources experience preferred
Excellent customer service skills with emphasis on confidentiality
Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively, in verbal and written forms, with employees, customers, or the general public
Ability to prioritize with excellent organizational skills
Must be computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel and Google Suite, including Sheets and Docs
