General Summary:

The Sales & Business Development Manager, Fluid Conveyance is responsible for driving strategic growth of Kraft Mobile Systems? fluid conveyance business, with a focus on hose assemblies, kitting solutions, and related services for OEM, end-user, and resale customers. This role develops new accounts and partners with Kraft?s field sales team to expand opportunities within existing accounts.

The manager plays a key role in building Kraft?s fluid conveyance capabilities by developing hose kitting programs, helping establish scalable business processes, and aligning growth opportunities with key supplier initiatives. Early engagement in customer design and specification processes is essential to securing new business and building long-term customer relationships.

This position combines technical expertise with commercial acumen and requires an ownership mindset, a strong customer focus, and close collaboration across sales and operations. Success is measured by qualified opportunities, new program wins, profitable revenue growth, and successful customer program launches.

Essential Duties and Tasks:

Develop new fluid conveyance accounts and partner with assigned field sales representatives to grow fluid conveyance business within existing Kraft accounts. Coordinate account plans and customer communications with the field sales team.
Identify, prospect, qualify, and develop opportunities in OEM, mobile equipment, industrial, end-user, and resale markets for hose assemblies, kits, and related services.
Lead the commercial development of opportunities from initial discovery and specification through proposal and award; coordinate the transition to operations and remain engaged through program launch.
Develop and execute target-account plans for hose kits, value-added assemblies, and inventory programs, with clear opportunity priorities and next steps.
Maintain a qualified sales pipeline and accurate CRM records for contacts, opportunities, activities, and forecasts.
Collaborate with strategic suppliers and operations to design, quote, and deliver technically sound and competitively priced hose kits and fluid conveyance solutions.
Work cross-functionally to support the development and continuous improvement of hose assembly processes, kitting workflows, and customer-specific programs.
Coordinate with customer service and accounting to ensure strong account management, including credit, pricing, margin management, and on-time delivery.
Partner with key suppliers and manufacturer representatives on target accounts, market opportunities, and joint sales initiatives.
Prepare sales forecasts, target-account lists, and growth plans that address:

Market potential, account opportunities, and competitive position
Pricing and gross margin objectives
New applications, customer programs, and supplier initiatives
Periodic account reviews and expansion opportunities

Stay current on hose technology, fluid conveyance applications, supplier offerings, and the competitive landscape.
Support customer troubleshooting and problem resolution related to hose assemblies, kits, and applications.
Conduct customer site visits and production walkthroughs; support implementation and start-up of awarded programs.
Support inventory planning and management for hose kits and customer-specific programs.
Recommend process improvements and investments that support profitable expansion of Kraft?s fluid conveyance capabilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed from a home-based office or company location with frequent travel to corporate office, customer sites, and supplier locations. The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, requiring strong interaction with customers, internal teams, and supplier partners.

Effort:

Must be a self-starter capable of developing a business segment with limited oversight. Requires initiative, sound judgment, follow-through, and persistence in a growth environment.

Systems and Software Proficiency:

Primary software packages used are Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), CRM (White Cup), and ERP (TrulinX).
